As we needed to find a reception desk and chairs for the exhibition, Sharon (assistant curator), Jeff and I went to Padova to a large scale hardware shop Leroy Merlin.

It took around 45 minutes from Venice to Padova.

Perhaps because it is a hardware shop,  we could only find several tools but cannot find any furniture for the exhibition. 

Finally, we walked around 15 minutes to find another furniture shop to buy the table and chairs.

After we chatted with the staff, we found out that the transportation fee to Venice is quite expensive. In Venice, there is no car. The only transportation is the ferries. Therefore, they can charge much shipping fee.
