Richmond Va 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Posted by: rowens September 11, 2011 8 Comments Well I did it, this morning I climbed 110 stories in honor of the 343 brothers who were murdered on 9/11/01 by faceless terrorists who tried to destroy our way of life, and our country. Today I participated in my 2nd 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in my home town of Richmond, Virginia. I climb to honor and remember the 343 heroes that selflessly gave their lives on September 11, 2001. Also on Sunday, a 9/11 memorial service will be held at 8:30 a.m. in Memorial Plaza adjacent to the Powell Building. This year I got to Climb for Firefighter Once they reached the top, they would announce the name of one of the 343 New York firefighters who died on 9/11.
